Research into the distribution of the production.
Whenever you are surfing the internet you are constantly being forced to watch advertisements and videos, this is how websites make their money, but you don't always need to pay to broadcast your video to a wide audience.
The most obvious place to broadcast a video is Youtube.com this website provides the service of displaying a video to a large audience for free. The video can then be watched and shared between people over social networking sites. Although this is the most basic and easy to use it is the worst one to get a video out and spreading, mainly because there are so many videos on YouTube that the video is like finding a needle in a hay-stack, there are going to be a lot of other videos that shadow over my production.
Another way to get the video out there and spreading across the public is by putting it onto a Facebook page, preferably one that is in some way related to the subject, location or store. Ye Olde English Sweet Shop does have it sown Facebook page which currently has 800 likes, so this provides the first basis of viewers that can start to watch and share the video to their friends. The video can also be shared to other pages that will be relevant to the audience such as the Visit Norwich Facebook page.
Once the production has been complete it will then be owned by Ye Olde English Sweet Shop who can use it at Trade Fairs, to exhibit to customers about their services & to share between their clients.
Adam, it is good to see that you are thinking beyond the end of the production stage, into distribution, as this will inform the content of your piece. However, we do need to see more evidence of the ongoing production, what is happening day to day. Where is your schedule, risk assessments, location recces etc. Your location is a tricky one, be prepared! Please update, Barrie.
